Be Part Of … One Choir, One Community, No Divides, ALL Abilities

Music Matters Inclusive Community Choirs are looking for new members!

These choirs emphasise the power of music to transcend ability, choral experience (or lack of), language or any other barriers which may prevent some people from participating in this very enjoyable aspect of community life.

Music Matters Inclusive Community Choir brings together people from all walks of life and unites local communities.

Approximately 70% of our singers have a disability or mental health condition. Singers with and without disabilities learn and work from each other!

Our repertoire is mainly modern and contemporary, with a few traditional Irish, classical and African language pieces.

All music is “taught by ear”, so that everyone can learn at the same pace. Lyrics can also be provided in large print or Braille, if requested.

Our motto is that “you do not have to be able to read music, or even to be able to read at all, to join our choir!” All we ask is that you have a passion for singing and musical performances!

No audition necessary!
