“Seed to Fork” – Community Garden at St Michael’s House, Turas Centre – Rathgar

On Thursday 22nd October, Music Matters was invited to sing at the Official Launch of the “Seed to Fork” Community Garden project. 

This Launch took place at the St Michael’s House Turas Centre on the Grosvenor Road in Rathgar, Dublin 6

This project was generously supported by Aviva Ireland – over 50 volunteers from Aviva, along with the Young Adults with intellectual disabilities who attend Turas, the St Michael’s House staff and volunteers worked diligently from June to October, to bring this fantastic project to fruition

Music Matters was delighted and privileged to be part of such an amazing project, which will not only benefit those attending Turas – but also the entire community in the Rathgar/ Rathmines area. 

Singers came from our Ophally Lodge/ St Michael’s House Choir, Memory Lane Crumlin Choir and Wednesday Evening Choir

Goody Bags were generously sponsored by Starbucks, which also works in partnership with St Michael’s House on the “My Life, My Way” project – to promote independent living for people with intellectual disabilities
