Last weekend Robin Nolan and I held a Gypsy Jazz Guitar Retreat in London.
It was good to see a couple of my ArtistWorks students there and meet new students who said they’d like to join us here online at the ArtistWorks Fingerstyle Guitar School.
We had guitar players travel to London from all over Europe, Scandinavia, USA, and Australia.
The theme of the retreat was ‘Bringing back the fun in Jazz’ as this style of jazz is very happy and uplifting and also doesn’t require a huge amount of music theory knowledege to get started. You can just jump in and start jamming straight away!
Many thanks to all the students who travelled long distances to share in this experience.
